Counseling case of an integrated approach to the recovery experience of a female university student who grew up in a violent family

Abstract
This study is a single case study of the experiences of a college student who grew up in a violent family, through counseling, to recover the psychological pain and confusion experienced by intepersonal conflicts and anxiety about academics and careers. As a psychotherapeutic approach, an integrated approach was taken using resource-centered counseling, emotional freedom techniques, mindfulness and breathing meditation. With the female of 4th year university student, the negatively defined problem that the participant appeals to is set as a positive goal that he or she wants to be solved, utilizes intenal resources what she has to achieve it, maintains and expands the motivation for individual acceptance and change withawareness, finally we looked specifically at the process of making the changes to be resolved. These results suggest that it can be an effective intervention method for the change and growth of participants suffering from the distorted self-perception, negative emotions and behaviors experienced while growing up in a violent family.
